Suddenly, the realisation of where he was hit Izuku, yet he could do nothing to stop his descent, the lull of unconsciousness overtaking him. What resulted was Izuku swinging the appendage- it could hardly be called an arm- into the Zero Pointer, caving in its metal head and toppling it with the force of the blow. The process was done in the seconds it took to reach the machine’s head, but even that speed could not contain the shower of blood that such an action left behind. Horrible cracking noises emerged, bone growing and weaving itself through the expanded musculature. After reaching the end of his arm, he repeated the motion, this time, pulling at the bones beneath the mountain of muscle. In a sudden motion, he tore his way down his own arm, ripping skin while expanding the muscle. He placed all five of his left digits upon his right arm, digging his nails into the flesh. Izuku wasn’t even aware of the change he made that allowed him to leap so high into the air, but his focus was entirely on those eight crimson eyes. His legs moved on their own, muscles adjusting as he twisted his flesh. There was something else beyond that, however, a voice: “H-help!” Izuku’s gaze shot to below the Zero Pointer, where he could just make out a trapped figure. Not quite being able to make out the noise, he adjusted his ear drums- the sound of twisting gears filling his senses. Izuku turned to flee from the machine, but paused as he heard something. The Zero Pointer loomed over the exam site, its monstrous form enough to strike fear into the examinees. Piercing crimson eyes- eight of them- stared down at the city, Izuku almost felt as if they stared at him. Its frame was a deep green, formed of numerous pointed edges that furthered it from looking human. Tank treads rolled the machine forwards, crushing cars into scrap beneath its weight. Its hands- black at the fingers- grasped the top of buildings with ease, dragging the behemoth from where it had laid under the site. When the dust cleared, something new stood above the towers of the fake city. From across the city, came a giant bang, throwing dust up across the entirety of the exam site. A light tremor ran through the ground, one which suddenly grew as if an earthquake. As Izuku crushed the head of another one pointer, he paused in his motions to reattach his wings. He lost track somewhere around fifty, but by then he could be confident he had gotten in. Izuku repeated those motions a few times, moving between groups of villains and taking them out as quickly as he could. Prepar-” The three pointer was cut off before it could finish, falling over as the teen’s arm- sharpened by a coating of bone- cut off the machine’s head. Izuku was very glad he’d read that article on eels. It drew its fist back to hit him, but froze as a bright flash of electricity jumped from Izuku’s chest, frying the robot's circuits. Metal crumbling under his attack, Izuku turned his attention to the other bot, jumping towards it. The teen rushed forwards, sprouting a shield of bone from his arm to slam into one of the machines. The two one pointe robots came first, a barrage of rubber bullets fired towards Izuku. With two of the fake villains defeated, he was left facing three more. Izuku returned his leg to normal, running to retrieve his weapon as he dodged the fist of another robot. The other enemies turned to face him, one taken out by the spear of bone that was thrown through its head. Left leg first, he landed on the one point robot, gravity sending his spike carving through the machine. Izuku took a deep breath, before dashing forwards and leaping towards the head of the crowd.Īs he fell, he grabbed a hold of his left leg, ripping away flesh and muscle until he was left with the bone- sharpened to a point. Moulding his wings back into his body, he looked down to see a small group of machines moving past the building he stood atop. Izuku flew above the fake city, landing atop one of the taller buildings and surveying the area. “Well? What are you all waiting for? There’s no countdown in a real fight!” The group of teens stood perfectly still for a second, before the group took off towards the exam site.
